No Gas Flow (How to resume the gas meter)

The gas meter automatically shuts off the flow when an anomaly is detected.
If gas flow suddenly stops, you may find out the reason for the shutdown from the LCD display on the meter and resume the flow.
If there is no anomaly such as gas smell, follow the procedure below to resume the gas meter.

Examples of gas meter display:

  • 地震が発生

    Earthquake/Alarm starting

  • 長時間使用

    Excessive use in time,
    e.g. appliances not shut off

  • ゴム管外れ

    Excessive flow/
    ex. detached codes

  • ガスの圧力が低下した時

    Low Gas Pressure

  1. Shut off the main gas valve and all valves on appliances.

    If there is a wall-mounted gas outlet, close its main plug as well.

  2. Press the resume button on the gas meter and wait for about 2 minutes*

    Press the black resume button on the gas meter.

    *Please do not meanwhile use the gas.
    *The meter checks if there is a gas leak or not.
    *Either A, B, or C displays, and a red light turns on.

  3. Gas flow resumes when the red light is out.

    If gas is still unavailable, please contact us.
